Event: Pune Design Festival - PDF Expo 2020

A call for Participation for Budding Entrepreneurs to get a space at a Design Expo to showcase their products

Association of Designers of India convenes an annual event called Pune Design Festival since the last 13 years. It is a two day event that celebrates the positive impact of design through talks, workshops & panels at a conference and open forums like Displays, Design Souk & Career Guidance discussions that are open to the public. 

This year at the 14th Pune Design Festival, we will explore the theme Crossroads. We constantly find ourselves at the crossroads of cultural shifts, craft, technology, skills and tools bringing in a diversity of challenges. Has design been an enabler? Is design bridging the contrast sand handling extremes? The theme will bring forth discussions, debates, case studies and workshops that showcase the signs of changing times at the turn of the decade.

At the same time, PDF will celebrate PDF Expo, for a fourth consecutive year. Over the last three years, the design expo has encouraged greater engagement and conversations with the design fraternity, while adding an exciting dimension to the overall design experience. A 2-day event as a part of the 14th Pune Design Festival will be hosted exclusively by the PDF Team. With the who’s who of the design field, from across the world, set to be in attendance. PDF Expo will be a great opportunity for the vast design fraternity – professionals, experts, educators, thinkers and students – to come together and connect with each other.

Being conducted on 10th and 11th January 2020 at Hotel Hyatt Regency, Pune, the Expo is sure to receive a massive participation from the design industry, design institutes, and the market. Interacting with this vast pool of design talent at such a prestigious setting and showcasing one’s design credentials, will be beneficial for one and all.
