Ashiyana works with children in need of care and protection and children in conflict with the law in two closed institutions of Mumbai. Ashiyana harnesses the energies of volunteers and team and collaborates with stakeholders to transform the lives of the children within these closed residential homes and once they leave, out in the world.
We believe that when children and youth experience inner transformation through safe spaces and positive and deep relationships, they can heal themselves, change their behaviour, become self-reliant and disrupt the cycle of poverty and violence.
