Involve (www.involveedu.com) was founded by recent graduates from IIT Madras, Divanshu, & Samyak, and is an international award-winning organization that works with schools to develop age-appropriate leadership in seniors and improves academics of juniors using PEER TEACHING.

We also have Ujwal Thakar (Ex-CEO Pratham), Lakshmi Narayan (CEO, APF) and Sanjay Purohit (Ex Chairman-Infosys Consulting) as our mentors. Overview of the Project & Role:
There are 3 High schools (8-10th grade) where we are starting a new project with an objective to develop leadership and academics among the students. Very few nonprofits take up the challenge to work with this grade and we want to see what difference we can make here. We have an action plan, however, the project lead will also have the autonomy to think and execute plans as per the need.
We are looking for an entrepreneurial person who takes pride in leading new projects, one who nails on ground operations as well as put the creative mind to design sessions as per the need! The person will be taking leadership sessions for students as well as managing people under him/her to implement other aspects of the programs in the 3 Schools, to ensure successful program outcomes for all the students.

Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Implementation
- Create an action plan to develop Student Leadership & academics using existing tools and programs
- Coordinate with fellows for respective schools to ensure our program is implemented well
- Training of Student leaders on pedagogy and taking regular workshops for them
2. Manage relationships
- Foster positive relationships with teachers, school staff and other stakeholders to get buy-in on change efforts required at the school level
- Participate in meetings, workshops or related forums/events, as required by school or Involve
3. Documenting and reporting
- Lead efforts to document and report progress and gaps of students on a monthly basis
- Adapt tools or surveys to evaluate, collect data and document stakeholder (parents, teachers, students) response to intervention
- Analyze feedback to continually improve the effectiveness of program and implementation

You should have:
- Experience: Some experience in the social sector, preferably in education full time.
- Education: An undergraduate degree in any stream is a must; a master’s degree is a plus
- Skills: Should be a good planner and a go-getter; Should be good with on-ground work; Clear understanding of thoughts and great communication skills; Ability to manage and inspire people
- Strong work Ethics: Punctuality, Sense of environment, self-driven;
- Interests: Passionate about education; enjoys mentoring and working with school kids.
Location: Bangalore (Should be fluent in Kannada); Immediate Joining!
Compensation: Rs. 30,000- 40,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience & fit)
