Established in 1995, Pragya is a non-governmental, development organization implementing projects in the remote and underserved regions of the world. The organization aims to deliver integrated and holistic development projects in the areas of agriculture, natural resource management, water management, disaster management, renewable energy, education, health and gender. Pragya is currently operating in India, Nepal, Bangladesh and Kenya in the global south and in the UK and USA. Position: Manager, Social Development – Gender / Livelihoods and Enterprises / Health
Location: Gurgaon, India
The member will give thematic inputs for Programs and facilitate implementation through field offices and partners; the position will also involve interfacing with different stakeholders.
Candidates should be energetic, have a relevant post-graduate degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the development sector, in the thematic areas of Gender, Livelihoods and Enterprises, Health or other disciplines from Humanities. Candidates must possess a reasonable command on integrated rural development projects, and a good command over English language. Selected candidate will be based in Gurugram with travel to different field locations.
The job involves:
a. Project Management: Providing appropriate guidance to field offices and partners.
b. Technical inputs: Carrying out detailed design for project elements and providing specialized, technical inputs for the project activities.
c. Documentation and interface: Responsible for all compliances, reports and communication with stakeholders.
