During times of crisis and emergencies, Twitter’s live, open and public features have been leveraged by NGOs, citizens, government agencies and the media to share and exchange information. 

This has led to unprecedented collaboration by NGOs, citizens, government agencies and the media on the platform. 

At regular intervals, Twitter India organizes workshops and roundtables for NotForProfits - to dive deeper into using Twitter for disaster relief, platform best practices, product updates and Twitter safety features. 

Twitter India is organising a #TwitterForCrisisResponse workshop on Monday, February 17, 2020, 11 am -12 pm in Chennai. The workshop will be conducted by Twitter India team, followed by a Q&A session & lunch.
