The NGO SEARCH was founded by Padmi Shri recipients Dr. Abhay Bang and Dr. Rani Bang in Gadchiroli, Maharashtra, that has been extensively working around tribal health for the last 3 decades, with a model that has been replicated in over 77 countries and also adopted by the Govt. of India to train a million ASHA workers.
