Gender, sexuality, Menstruation lab 2.0- Eco feminism

Would you like to learn from Tutors world wide and be a part of a cohort of change makers?
Nazariya queer feminist organisation and Orikalankini bring their Gender, sexuality, Menstruation fellowship 2.0 - Ecofeminism this september.
This is a 13 week fellowship with one week of contact session followed by 12 week of online engagement.
During the contact session we will learn the foundation of
*What constitutes Sex,sexuality,gender and its relation to menstruation.
*Hormonal components of menstruation and its effect on the body and the psyche.
* Understand the ethno cultural aspects of menstruation throughout history and understand the effect of witch hunts and other systemic persecutions of menstruators.
* Learn tools to connect with our body through yin yoga ,movement and breath practices that discharge held up emotions and help us tune into our bodies.
In the following 12 weeks we will meet 12 external facilitators talking on the topics like
1.Caste and its intersection with sexuality, menstruation.
2. Disability, menstruation an pleasure.
3. Sex work
4. Transgender experience of menstruation
5. South Asian feminist solidarity
6. Ecofeminist movement building
7. Healing the sister wound.
8. Art in activism
9. Working with the government agencies.
10. MHM schemes
11. Incenerators and intricacies.
12. Collaborative and Rotating leadership.
The fellows will also get introduced to the following skills
1. Golden circle
2. Power mapping
3. Theory of change
4. Social climate mapping
5. Designing a campaign
6. Creating online petitions
7. Building a public narrative
8. Creating compelling stories
9. Stratergies for fund raising
10. Simple talking circle facilitation
11. Human centered Design thinking
12. Meme making and content creation.
People of all genders are encouraged to apply. People belonging/working to Muslim, Dalit groups and other minorities are highly encouraged to apply.
The sessions will be conducted in Hindi and English.
Participants are to arrange the travel for the compulsory contact session in Delhi or Himachal. Food and stay will be arranged by the organisers.
There is no fee for the workshop. Attendence for contact session and 10 out of 12 online sessions are compulsory.
Selection based on Application with reference letters and online interview.
