Working with schools on topics of sustainability, we realized that while most of the schools wish to educate their kids about the Sustainable Development Goals, they do not find appropriate and relevant resources to do that. We at Brainwiz fill that gap for schools and make learning for the 21st century more fun and sustainable.
In order to make learning more inclusive and far-reaching, Brainwiz is working towards creating localized SDG resources for students and teachers that can help them understand the sustainability agenda 2030 better and also help them in empathizing with the problems that we face today.
The first contribution towards this initiative is this beautiful comic book that explains the SDGs to the students. Originally created Margreet De Heer, Reading with Pictures, and Comics Uniting Nations, the comic book explains the concepts of SDGs in a kid-friendly language. We at Brainwiz have translated their work from English to Hindi to increase the circle of impact for this amazing comic book.
We have already organized group reading sessions of this book in many schools and the students seem to love the Hindi content. I would love to know your thoughts on this effort by Brainwiz and will also encourage you to share any photos of group readings that you might organize for this.
Moving ahead, as we continue to create more such free resources for students and teachers, I would also like to invite support from all of you to help us recreate this comic book in other regional languages of India.
