SIDBI, a Development Financial institution under the Department of Financial Services, GOI is dedicated to playing a very active and catalytic role in the development of the MSME ecosystem through its financial and non-financial interventions. We believe that Micro Enterprises & Artisan products need to be showcased in various platforms, which will help these small entrepreneurs in getting exposure, accessing markets and selling their products.
SIDBI is planning to use its frontage space of the office building in Bandra Kurla Complex to run a mini-exhibition centre for Micro Enterprises, Handicraft & Artisan products. The place is located in a prominent place in G-Block of Bandra Kurla Complex. The first such exhibition is proposed to be organized next week (During November 25-29), with around 8 micro-entrepreneurs and artisans. Products would include toys, imitation jewellery, woodwork, kitchen items, leather bags/belts, boxes, decorative items, paintings etc. BKC being a hub of banking and commercial activities, a large number of people are expected to visit these stalls and buy the products. Stalls will be provided by SIDBI for free of cost.
