The Period Fellowship is a paid 15 month full-time leadership journey designed to nurture future male and female leaders in the MHH ecosystem. Your journey kicks off with the The Period Fellowship bootcamp where together we discover your unique story, motivation and talents while teaching you how to deliver our MHH intervention in schools and introduce you to your fellowship family for the next year. Period Fellows gain an understanding of menstruation in a rural or marginalised context and experience a combination of grassroots field work, stakeholder management and leadership, where they are encouraged to step out of their comfort zones and up to the plate of shaping the narrative around MHH in India.

WHAT ARE THE MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS?
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and commit to The Period Fellowship full-time over 15 months. You must be willing to relocate to regions in Bihar and Madhya Pradesh and be fluent in written and spoken Hindi. Applicants must have a working knowledge of spoken English and possess a Bachelors Degree. We're very excited to work with motivated, creative and resilient humans of diverse age, gender and background.

WILL I BE PAID DURING THE PERIOD FELLOWSHIP?
Yes, of course! Fellow stipends are dependent on the regions they are placed to ensure you have a comfortable standard of living. In 2020, Period Fellows will receive a stipend of 25,000INR per month which includes their travel allowance to and from schools and communities in Bihar and Madhya Pradesh.
