Association for Effective Governance is starting an Internship Program for Parliamentarians where selected candidates get to work and assist Members of Indian Parliament in their legislative duties in the upcoming budget session of the year 2020.
The selected candidates will get a one-week training then will be allocated to MP/Party Parliamentary offices. There the work will include drafting parliamentary questions for the MP, preparing briefs for the bills, speeches, drafting private member bills, etc. A detailed job description is attached to this email.
Some of the MPs with whom the interns will work are Mr Ashwini Vaishnaw (former IAS and Private Secretary to Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee), Dr Vikas Mahatme (Padma Shri Awardee), Dr Sumathy, Mr Mithun Reddy, etc.
