
Background:
Saajha, a non-profit organisation, is missioned to enable parents of children studying in government
schools to be partners in their Child’s education. Strengthening of School Development and
Monitoring Committee (SDMC), to bridge the school-family-community gap is our key focus area.
Saajha is currently working across 1300 schools in 4 Geographies - Delhi, Karnataka (Hubli) and
Jharkhand (Khunti) and Maharashtra. Saajha’s work has been recognised by Echoing Green
Fellowship, Forbes India award, NASSCOM award for technology and Action for India Tech
Challenge.
Saajha’s intervention is focussed to:
• Increase Parental-Participation in school decisions
• Increase Parent-Teacher communication on Child’s learning
• Enable Parent participation in Home-learning of children
• Enable Parental feedback to be incorporated in policy decisions
• Interact with the government functionaries to initiate policy amendments if need be
Job Description:
• Managing large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner
• Following call center “scripts” when handling different topics
• Identifying customers’ needs, research every issue and provide solutions
• Build sustainable relationships and engage customers by taking the extra mile
• Keep records of all conversations in our call center database in a comprehensible way
• Frequently attend educational seminars to improve knowledge and performance level
• Meet personal/team qualitative and quantitative targets
Job Requirement:
• Strong phone and verbal communication skills of native language along with active
listening
• Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
• Travel to office at least four days a week. Candidates can work from home two days per
week.
Remuneration: The salary range is between INR 13,000-15,000/-.
