We are hiring for a Sr.Finance Manager for one of our clients, an award winning Mumbai based non profit
Job responsibilities:
- Responsible for overall Financial Management and Accounting for the organisation. Ensuring that all expenses are parked properly as per programs & under designated heads
- Preparing & processing payroll & working TDS on salary & ensuring that all deductions are done properly.
- Monthly management reporting on detailed accounts of income, expenditure, budget v/s actuals and funders status.
- Support with financial details in new funder proposal/s.
- Liaise with the organization's external auditors and oversee the audit process
- Provide insightful and accurate reports to the Board of Trustees and Senior Management as and when required.
- Support the Operations Director in addressing strategic financial issues including accounting software, banking, and contract management, formulate long-term, strategic plans, which involve uncertainty, and which may impact across the whole organization.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and/or annual report for the donors as per the donor agreements.
- Responsible for the compliance checks and fulfillment of the filling of required documents under various Government norms that are applicable to the organization.
- Assist in the preparation of budget and ensure the financial hygiene of the organization
- Manage team of 1 or 2 people - accounts executive /assistant.
Qualification and experience:
M.Com, MBA (Finance), CA, Inter CA with 10+ years of experience in finance in non profit sector
Desired skills:
- Strong knowledge of TALLY that includes, but not restricted to, Windows & Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Sound accounting knowledge including compliances, Trust laws and FCRA laws, GST etc
- Manage independently accounting & finances of mid-size NGO as well as manage a small team
- Funder wise reporting and fund allocation experience
Salary budget: upto 10.8 LPA commensurate with qualification and experience
