Internship: Belongg is looking for paid Interns in social media location Delhi

Belongg is looking for 1-2 talented social media interns to work on exciting initiatives that promote diversity and inclusion in cities, communities, and organizations. You can read more about Belongg below. 

This is a paid, 3-month long role (extendable based on mutual interest) that will involve using social media to catalyze really interesting diversity and inclusion projects within domains such as books/ publishing, research/ academia, inclusive housing, and mental health.

Activities & Services

Belongg runs a range of activities and services: 

• Community Events & Meetups: We host a range of meetups and community events that touch upon different aspects of themes such as gender, sexuality, race, caste, religion, ethnicity, disability, prejudice & bias. These include book readings, workshops, film screenings, and events such as open-mics.
• Belongg Inclusive HousingServices: Belongg is creating a network of “inclusive landlords” who are willing to lease out their houses to tenants irrespective of their identity. We have an eventual goal of tens of thousands of such inclusive landlords across the country. 
• Belongg Book Club & Library: Through the Belongg Book Club & Library we bring a curated set of fiction and non-fiction books on these themes to readers who are passionate about these questions &/or are curious to know more. From the initial chapter of the Library in South Delhi, we are now expanding and will be soon launching 3 additional chapters in Delhi, Gurgaon, and Bhubaneswar. Our goal is to have between 30-50 chapters by the end of 2020 and nearly 100 chapters by the end of 2021. In launching these chapters, we look to partner with likeminded public spaces such as cafes, art spaces, and even companies and academic institutions. 
• The Belongg Research Collective: Through the Research Collective, we are seeking to create a community of researchers who study different aspects of inclusion, diversity, discrimination, and exclusion through lenses such as gender, sexuality, caste, race, ethnicity, disability etc.
