I am Teach for India alum and Founder of Code to Enhance Learning, a non profit organization with a vision that kids code to express and problem solve.
I am excited to invite kids, teachers, parents, educators and other stakeholders to online the felicitation event of CEL Kids Hackathon 2020 on 29 March. CEL Kids Hackathon is a collaborative coding event to give kids in grades 5-9 to showcase their coding talent by solving problems aligned to sustainable development goals. In 2020 edition, 1264 kids participated from 40+ schools and 10+ cities to code for purpose.
It’s a great opportunity for us to come together to encourage the budding coding talent to solve problems around to make the world a better place. We believe that hearing their stories and challenges would encourage more kids around the world to learn coding and make things for a bigger purpose. Moreover, it would be a great platform to ask questions to the winners, their mentors and field experts in the panel discussion to gain more insights about the journey of making such creative coding projects.
Feel free to share it around in your circle so that more kids could be a part of it and learn from the journey of winning kids. Here, is the link for the sign up for the audience. Moreover, in the moment of health crisis around the globe with kids at home, this might be a great activity for them to engage with.
