We at Organic Ubuntu are looking to collaborate with NGOs/farmer collectives who are interested in training their farmers in organic farming and supporting them in shifting towards it.
We provide end to end support to the farmers/collectives and the local NGO teams from providing
- High-quality training, bio-inputs, pest advisory to traditional seeds.
- Organic farming certification and documentation support.
- Handhold farmers in crop diversification- on what to grow, how much to grow linked to market insights & demand and connect them to institutional buyers.
- Business Planning, Capacity and Institution Building for the Farmers Producer Companies/collectives
- Leadership Coaching and Action Learning Workshops for Farmers and Collective members.
- Training in Processing and Value additions and providing market linkages.
- Creation of Farmers' Owned Brand, Marketing and Sales.
After 5 years of groundwork with farmers, we realised it needs a lot of patience, hard work and a great end to end support from the seed to the market stage to the farmer so that they could trust and shift to organic/natural farming and dont leave it in between.
