INTERNSHIP: Environment Communications Intern at Indicus Foundation

Hi,

UnEarth.Live is a first-of-its-kind initiative to make environment, social and governance news and research accessible to the layperson. We're building a community of change-makers to work towards a sustainable and inclusive world.

We're looking for an Environment Communications Intern to help us build and meaningfully engage digital communities via well-informed audio, visual and text stories.

The responsibilities include:
1. Creating a communication strategy across social networks (including, but not limited to YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram) with guidance from the Indicus team.

2. Implementing the said strategy by creating the calendar of posts (creatives + content)

3. Analysing the posts across platforms to inform and update the strategy as required.

Who are we looking for?
We're looking for someone with an understanding of social networks, who can work independently and believes in the power of communities and networks in catalysing change. This is a 3 month full-time, paid internship, preferably from our office in South Delhi.

What is in it for you?
This is an intensive opportunity with mentorship by serial entrepreneur and revered economist, Dr Laveesh Bhandari. The profile allows an excellent learning opportunity to thoroughly understand communication for social change. Based on performance, the opportunity may be extended into a year-long Communication for Social Change Fellowship. The monthly stipend shall be INR 5,000-10,000 based on performance and the fellowship stipend would be discussed later.

If interested, please send your updated CV with a short note on your favourite social media channel and what makes stories go viral to aishwarya@indicus.org with the subject line: Environment Communications Intern - Indicus

Best,
Aishwarya
