We have news to share India Fellow Is Re-Designed

The duration of India Fellow is 18 months now, out of which fellows will spend about 17 months working at grassroots with an organization committed to social change. They will also be a part of 45 days residential training divided into three parts.   The host organizations continue to support financially by paying the fellow, a monthly stipend of INR 16,000 in rural areas and INR 20,000 in metro cities, for their living expenses. Additionally, the cost of selecting and nurturing a fellow is INR 2 lakh. Each fellow will share this cost by paying a fee of INR 25,000 in the beginning of the program, and fundraise INR 1 lakh through the 18 months. The fellowship will raise the remaining INR 75,000 per fellow.   The matching process between the fellow and the host organization will be based on preferential ranking by them, followed by discussions with each other facilitated by the fellowship team. This was experimented in 2020 and has worked well.
