Calling all social entrepreneurs!!
Pollinate Group are scheduled to have a social panel discussion in Indiranaga, Bangalore on February 11th from 5:00 - 7:00pm and would love to hear from local social businesses and entrepreneurs keen to share their stories and insight!
The social panel will coincide with the Student Fellowship program we are currently running with students from universities across Australia. Over the course of four weeks, the fellows will leverage their diverse skills to help assess our impact in Indian urban slum communities, while gaining a unique insight into the operations of a social enterprise. During these programs, we would like to give fellows an opportunity to connect with the wider, burgeoning social entrepreneurship scene in Bangalore (and India in general), as such we would love for you to join our curated panel to share the highs and lows of your organization's journey in creating social impact.
What is Pollinate Group?
Pollinate Group is a social business that empowers women as leaders of change to distribute products that improve health, save time, and save money for marginalized populations in India and Nepal. Pollinate Group is currently based in six cities in India and two regions of Nepal. Our product line includes solar lights, water filters, clean cookstoves, a variety of low-cost value products (biodegradable menstrual pads, mosquito oils, pain oils, etc.), and much more. Our women entrepreneurs receive training and start-up support, so they are equipped to help communities we work in and empowered with skills and confidence.
