Job Description/Responsibilities
Placement officer is responsible connecting with the Industry, generating Job Orders and ensuring Placements of the Youth / Job Seekers.
Meeting targets of the Centre.
General Responsibilities :
Marketing Activities (Campaign for creating awareness)
Co-operative advertisements in association with various companies / societies, etc.
Mailers to Schools, Colleges, Coaching centres, etc.
Participation in any Educational / Career Fairs / Job Fair, etc.
Placements:
Connecting with the organisations. institutions, employers, etc.
Signing of LOUs -both paid and unpaid
Creating job openings / opportunities for trainees / candidates / job-seekers
Sharing and publishing of Job openings with everyone in the Centre
Creating communication material, poster etc. to attract right talent for the job openings
Coordinating with employers and the Centre for Job interviews
Organising the Placement Drives / Campus Drives / Job Fairs, etc.
Achieving high rate of job placements
Ensuring successful candidate’s joining in the companies
Follow up activities
Invoicing & generating revenues
Placement support to Colleges & Job fairs:
Interact with industry for identifying career opportunities and promoting job fairs
Mobilize NGOs and other institutions for collaboration in job fairs and outreach services
Approach colleges for group counselling and dissemination of career related information as paid services
Placement solution to Colleges / institutions
Ensuring participation of companies / organisations in Campus Drive / Placement Drive / Job Fairs, etc.

Candidate Preferences:
Minimum Qualification
|
Graduation in any field, PG would be preferred
|
Preferred Experience (years)

3 years
|
Preferred Skills
|
Prior working knowledge of Placement activities and Industry connect is desirable
Knowledge of the geographical area is essential
Good communication skills
Positive approach & helpful nature
Good team player
Well conversant with computers (excel & search engines)
Good knowledge of counselling techniques
